My Uncle Joe was a favorite uncle to everyone, especially me. He was my first boss when he gave me a job at his bakery on Plymouth Rd. We never ran out of bread or donuts because there always seemed to be a constant flow of it through our house-thanks to Uncle Joe! I will always remember him being a part of our lives as he was always there for us or anyone in the family. He was like a matriarch of the family and we always knew we could depend on Uncle Joe, always doing things for us and being there for us with his never-ending generosity and heart of gold. Uncle Joe will be sorely missed but he will live on in our hearts and I will always cherish the wonderful memories I have of him.

I grew up in Detroit with my Uncle Joe. He was always there for his family. I worked several summers at his bakery on Joy Road. He loved to come to our house when my mother, Anne was baking!! My husband Larry and all my children will miss him dearly. He was one of a kind.
