Obituary of mary Ann Crackovich

Mary Ann (Benko) Crackovich age 95 of Uniontown passed away on Tuesday January 9,2018 in Lafayette Manor. 

Mary Ann was born on September 18,1922 the daughter of Charles and Mary (Berdar) Benko.


In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Michael Crackovich Sr, a son Joseph Crackovich Jr, a son in law Joseph Campbel, 3 brothers Charles Benko, John Von Benko, and Michael Benko, and 2 sisters Nikki Sohyda, and Ann Nagy.

Mary Ann was a devote Catholic and attend St. George Maronite Church. She was a Lector and a member of Altar Rosary Society.  In her younger years she was an avid Bowler  and Golfer in which she enjoyed with her husband Joseph.  As she got older she loved to play BINGO. She loved her family and faith.

Mary Ann is survived by  2 daughters Patricia Campbell and Gloria Lofstead and Gerald, 2 grandsons  Joesph Campbell and wife Jennifer and Daniel Campbell  and wife Lisa, and 4 great grandchildren Taylor, Tori, Joesph, and Eden, a brother Steve Benko, 4 sisters Lydia Hathaway, Theresa Goehring, Cathrine Markle, and Helen Fiedor, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received in the Thomas M. Dolfi Funeral Home 136 N. Gallatin Ave Uniontown on Sunday January 14, 2018  from 3 to 7:00PM at which time a rosary will be recited followed by a blessing  service  held by Reverend Father El-Badaoui Habib, M.L.M. 

Interment will be in Mt. Macrina Cemetery and will be private.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice and Lafayette Manor for there compassion and care that was  extended to Mary during her illnesses.

Also a special thank you to Mary Fusco and Laurent Gathy for being there for Mary.
