Obituary of Jane Ann Leonelli
Jane Ann “ Janey” Leonelli age 62 of Lemont Furnace PA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday November 16,2017 in Uniontown Hospital.
Jane was born on October 9,1955 in Waynesburg, PA , the daughter of Armand and Elinor (Kikta) Leonelli, her grandparents, John and Helen Kikta and Frank and Filomena Leonelli.
At a very early age Janey was introduced to many of the finer things in life. Education was important to her and her family. She attended the Intermediate Unit 1 and Ark of Fayette during her lifetime. Janey attended many cultural events such as plays, concerts, theater, travel and dining out. At a very young age she especially enjoyed vacationing at the shore with her parents and siblings. She had traveled to the Bahamas with her sisters, Cindi , Paula an dVicki along with her niece Toni and nephew Armand. Most recently she traveled by plane with her family to Atlantic City. Janey had a passion for music. She would sing and play the guitar. She enjoyed watching remakes of her favorite tv shows. She created artwork and crafts and gifted those many times to family and friends. Janey was compassionate towards all animals and they gravitated to her. She was the life of the party and everyone who knew her loved her. She especially enjoyed the summer months sunbathing and swimming in her sisters Cindi’s swimming pool. And enjoyed sipping a good cold beer.
Janey was amongst the most kind and gentle persons of the world. Because of her heart of gold, she made the world a better place. Janey said special prayers for others when they were in need. She loved her home that she made with her sister and brother in law Cindi and Dick Evans. She loved spending time with her sister Paula and brother Joe Faris. She enjoyed visiting her Uncle Stanton Lowe and watched Dancing with the Stars at his home. She enjoyed visiting her niece Toni Leonelli. She enjoyed seeing her nephew Armand Leonelli . Janey loved her family gatherings.
Janey is survived by her sisters Cynthia Evans and her husband Richard of Lemont Furnace, Paula and her husband Joe Faris of Connellsville, her brother Armand Leonelli Esq. and wife Vicki of Uniontown, a niece Antonia Leonelli of Uniontown and nephew Armand Leonelli and fiancée Nicole Koci of Finleyville, and a special Uncle Stanton Lowe of Masontown and many cousins and friends. She will be especially missed by her immediate family. Janey will be missed by her fur babies especially Rosie whom she loved.
Family and Friends will be received at the Thomas M. Dolfi Funeral Home 136 N. Gallatin Ave Uniontown, PA on Tuesday November 22,2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Blessing service will be held at 6:00 PM. Interment will be private.
A special and heartfelt thanks are given to Uniontown Hospital Hospice, Fayette Behavioral Health, Arc of Fayette, Joann Patterson and those who have helped with the special care given to Janey.
