Obituary of Marlene Oberly

Marlene (Gales) Oberly age 77 of West Leisenring, passed away on August 31,2017.

She was born on. April 22,1940 in Uniontown the daughter of Kenneth and Lavina (Wallace) Gales.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Steve Robert Oberly,  a sister Shelia Gales,  her step father David Wallace and a special friend Charlie Brietner.

She is survived by a son Stephen R Oberly Jr. and  Fiancee’ Shelly Priester and her family , a step son John Keith Oberly and wife Theresa,  a step daughter Kim McCoy, Grandchildren Stephen  Oberly III and friend  Kelsey DeNardo  and Madison Oberly, step grandchildren, a sister D’Rae Gales, a special niece Lynn Whipkey and husband Albert and their family and several other nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Friends will  be received in the Thomas M Dolfi Funeral Home 136 N. Gallatin Ave Uniontown on Monday September 4,2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 and on Tuesday September 5,2017 from 9 to 10 AM at which time services will be held by Pastor Bryan Kelley and Rev. Vincent Winfrey. Interment will follow in Oak Lawn Cemetery.
