Obituary of Mildred Frosztega
Mildred Marie (Marcinek) Frosztega age 90 of Flattwoods, PA died peacefully in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, August 9,2017.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert George Frosztega.
Mildred was a loving mother to Millie White and husband Donley of Vanderbilt, Roberta Hughes and husband Richard of Burgettstown, and Joesph Frosztega and wife Cindy of Mt. Lebanon, She was always actively involved with her children as they grew into adulthood. Grandmother to Mark White, Daniel White, Jennifer Ranker, Jason Burt, Andrew Burt, Rick Hughes, Charity Slusarek, Jessica Frosztega, and Amanda Frosztega; Great- Grandmother of 17.
As a graduate of Dunbar High School and Uniontown Hospital School of nursing, she devoted over 25 years of her life as a caring nurse at Uniontown Hospital,. Connellsville State General hospital and Highlands Hospital and Highlands Hospital and Health Center.
She was preceded in death by sisters Pauline Smith, Anne Carrillo, Sophie Haskins and Mary Wozniak and brothers Joe Marcinek, John Marcinek, John Marcinek, Edward Stephan and Stanley Stephan.
Friends and family will be received in the Thomas M. Dolfi Funeral Home 136 N Gallatin Ave Uniontown on Monday August 14,2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM and on Tuesday August 15,2017 until 10 AM at which time a blessing service will be held. Interment will follow in Bowman Flatwoods Cemetery.
