Obituary of Floren Thomas Strope

Floren Thomas “ Tom” Strope age 74 of Brownsville, passed away on May 25,2017 in Uniontown Hospital.

Tom was born on February 2,1943 in Waynesburg, PA the son of  Floren and Ruby (Keener) Strope.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his 2 wives Ethel (King) Strope and Janet (Boerger) (Waller)  Strope, and  3 brother Edward Strope, Richard Strope, and James Strope.

Tom served his country in the United States Army.  He was a member of the UMWA and worked for many years for Guttman Oil.

Tom is survived by 3 children Tracy Jensen and husband Kris,  Randy Strope and wife Lynn,Shelly Kennedy and husband Terry,  5 step children Joyce Fisher and husband Dan, Cathi Thomas, Jennifer Ryan ,Patricia Sawka and husband Victor, and John Waller, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, 1 brother Charles Strope, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements are being handled by the Thomas M Dolfi Funeral Home and are private.
