Obituary of Jessica Marie Ritz

Jessica Marie Ritz, age 27, of Uniontown passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. She was born on April 23, 1989, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Timothy Ritz Sr. and Gail (Cunningham) Senge. Jessica is survived by her parents and immediate family that she held in highest regards and who will cherish her memory forever, Timothy Ritz Sr, Gail Senge, her stepfather Cary Senge, brother Timothy Ritz Jr. (girlfriend Amy Holp), and her most favorite and beloved fan her little sister, Payton Senge. Also surviving are maternal grandparents, Dave & Betty Cunningham, paternal grandfather Thomas Ritz Sr., aunts and uncles, Cindy & Kevin Larrow, Jamie & Greg Hatalowich, Thomas Ritz Jr., Tracy Ritz, many cousins and Monica Valeri (her father’s girlfriend). She was preceded in death by her “Nana” Gail Cunningham, who will welcome her into her heavenly home. She was sincerely beloved and cherished by her family and friends who will continue to carry on the torch she lit. Jessica would light up a room with her beautiful smile, infectious laugh, gentle spirit and humble personality. Her unselfish and caring spirit brought many into her circle of friends who continued to be an important part of her life. She considered her family and friends her mission always willing to mother, protect, lend a helping hand, a laugh, a tear, an encouraging and non-judgmental listening ear. Jessica would want her family and friends to continue her mission by loving hard, living strong and giving back in any way they could. Friends and family will be received at the Thomas M. Dolfi Funeral Home, 136 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, on Sunday January 22, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Monday from 9-10 AM at which time the hour of service will be held by Pastor Darrell Edgar. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests to those who loved Jessica to continue the light she brought to the world by making a donation in her honor to the family. They are committed to honor Jessica and keep her memory alive by establishing a fund that would help those in recovery. It is their desire to continue the work being made to help those who chose to welcome Jessica into their lives and local group.
