Obituary of Jahmal N Ryan

Jahmal N. Ryan of California, PA passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2020 at the early age of 22. He was born in Port St. Lucie, Florida on December 10, 1997, and was a loving son to Jenielle Ryan and Bing Howell. He spent the first 10 years of his childhood in Brooklyn, New York, before moving to Pennsylvania. Jahmal attended several schools where he played basketball and football, while making many friends who loved him dearly. He will be remembered for his love of family, music, dancing, and making people laugh. He was a generous, helpful, loyal, charismatic, kind soul who took pride in his work. To know him was to love him. Most of all, he was a caring father to his three beautiful children: Jayani, Damani, and Jahmal Jr. Ryan. Left to forever cherish his memory, in addition to his parents and children, are his seven brothers and two sisters: Bing Gomez, Tyrese Howell, Malik Howell, Kimberly Howell, Tafari George, Tafari Ryan, Cochise Ryan, Chief Naiche Ryan, and Amira Ryan. Grandparents are Joy Gillette, Ainsworth Gillette, Elizabeth Perry, and Oliver Perry; aunts: Jamie Ryan, Candice, Sharon, and Giselle Howell; uncles: Joel Ryan, Ronald and Bertrum Howell; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Immediate family and close friends will be received at Thomas M. Dolfi Funeral Home, 136 North Gallatin Avenue, Uniontown, PA on Tuesday, January 21st from 4-6 pm. Fellow friends are invited from 6-7 pm.
