Obituary of Sue Merryman
Sue (Delligatti) Merryman of Uniontown, PA. passed away on June 12,2019.
Sue was born on August 16, 1929 in Tower Hill #1 . She was the daughter of
Stefano and Marianna Delligatti.
In addition to her parents Sue is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert M. Merryman, 7 brothers and sisters and a great Granddaughter Norah Claire Guerke
Sue graduated from Uniontown High School in the Class of 1947. She was a cheerleader and was very active with the Class reunion Planning Committees. She was a past president and member of the Altar Society of St. Therese R. C Church. She also served in the Ministry of Consolation and the Parish Wake Services. Sue worked at Rockwell International, now known as Sensus Technologies, for 14 years.
Left to cherish Sue’s memory are four sons and one daughter. Thomas Merryman and wife Joanne, Edward Merryman and wife Karen, David Merryman and wife Reesa, Jeffrey Merryman and wife Paula and Cynthia Over and husband Rick, 6 grandchildren Julie Gerlach and husband Jeffrey, Luke Merryman, Adrienne Guerke and husband Hank, Maria Merryman, Michael Merryman and Ashley Watterson and husband Ryan, 5 great grandchildren Timothy Gerlach, Christopher Gerlach, Addison Guerke, Sydney Guerke and Hunter Merryman, a sister Lucille Cole and Several Loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family and Friends will be received in the Thomas M. Dolfi Funeral Home 136 N. Gallatin Ave Uniontown on Sunday June 16,2019 from 2 to 6 PM. Everyone is asked to meet on Monday June 17,2019 at St Therese R. C Church 61 Mill St Uniontown at 10 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mt St Macrina Cemetery.
A parish wake service will be held on Sunday June 16,2019 at 3PM followed by the St Therese Altar Society Rosary.
